I Hear Santa Claus
Children's Song Lyrics and Sound Clip
Geof Johnson

Christmas Eve, and I’m in bed,
Tryin’ to rest my weary head.
All the lights are turned down low,
I’m covered up from head to toe.

So excited, I can’t sleep,
Although I’ve tried counting sheep.
That’s when I become aware of
Something going on downstairs.

I hear Santa Claus
Do you hear Santa Claus?
Must be Santa Claus
Somewhere in the house.

I sit up and look around to
See if anyone heard that sound.
Mamma’s sleepin’, Daddy too,
There’s no one up but me and you.

I hear Santa Claus
Do you hear Santa Claus?
Must be Santa Claus
Somewhere in the house.

I put my robe and slippers on,
Tip toe downstairs all alone.
Standing by the Christmas tree,
I see Santa Claus, he sees me.

I see Santa Claus
Do you see Santa Claus?
Must be Santa Claus
Somewhere in the house.

He said, Darlin’, go to bed.
Go and rest your weary head.
Christmas morninig you will see
Presents by the Christmas tree.

I hear Santa Claus
Do you hear Santa Claus?
Must be Santa Claus
Somewhere in the house.
