Cold-Blooded
Two of a Kind
Ectotherm is the scientific name for a cold-blooded animal.
Chorus:
Well I’m cold-blooded, check it and see
I keep changing to a different degree
When it’s hot I just stay in the shade
I’m cold-blooded, cold-blooded
Hey you know, climate is the key
It’s a matter of degree
I move from zone to zone
You may have your reasons
To like the change in seasons
But I start to groan and get a chill in my bones
I lie in the sun - before I’m ready to have some fun
But when it’s cold outside - you know I have to slow down and hide
Chorus
My name is ectotherm
And you may have learned
We all need energy
But when you eat
Your body makes heat
But you can see, that doesn’t work for me
I lie in the sun - before I’m ready to have some fun
But when it’s cold outside - you know I have to slow down and hide
Chorus
Cold-blooded - I’m a fish in the sea
Cold-blooded - I’m a frog in a tree
Cold-blooded - I’m a snake in the sand
Cold-blooded - I’m a fly on your hand
Cold-blooded, cold-blooded.
