I’m So Glad That I’m Me
James Coffey
Think about the fishies under the sea
Eating other fishies living so happily
He thinks he’s got it made just swimmin’ around
Until a bigger fishy comes and swallows him down
I’m so glad that I’m me, I’m so glad that I’m me
Think about the spider just spinnin’ his web
Hangin’ around on his long silky thread
You wouldn’t want his life he has to scurry around
Always watchin’ out for people who are walking around
I’m so glad that I’m me, I’m so glad that I’m me
Think about the mouse cozied up in his hole
He thinks he’s got his life completely under control
Then he finds a piece of cheese, but it’s stuck in a trap
And if he don’t watch out his life could end in a snap!
I’m so glad that I’m me, I’m so glad that I’m me
