Critter Jambalaya
James Coffey
Way down yonder in Louisiana there are creatures you have to see
There in a swamp they live all together in a one big a family
You’ve got your muskrats, bullfrogs, crawdads and alligators
Catfish, razorbacks a livin’ day to day
You’ve got your mudpuppies, salamanders
Put them all together got a Critter Jambalaya down Louisiana way hey!
Some live in the grass, some live in the swamp
Some live in a nest or tree
Some come out in the day, some come out in the night
And some are still a mystery
(Chorus)
(Repeat 1st Verse)
(Chorus)
